SATURDAY, July 31

  • Stage entertainment at tent (at Baptist Church) – 1:00- 8:00 p.m.
    (see schedule below)
  • National DAR re-dedication of Lewis and Clark Centennial rock – West Market Square – 1:30 p.m.
  • Dale Clark and Seaman – 1:00 – 2:00 p.m.
  • Bar-b-q meal outside Baptist Church – 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. ($8.00 adult - $4.00 under 16 years)
  • Ft. Calhoun Jaycees street dance – 8:00 p.m.
  • Books Signing -- Washington County Historical Association Tent

SUNDAY, August 1

  • Cowboy Church Worship Service at entertainment tent – 11:00 – noon
  • Entertainment at tent – 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. (see schedule below)
  • Raffle – Winchester Super X 3” 12 gauge shotgun; “Lonesome Wind” Longbow, Special Edition one-of-a-kind; William Clark replica compass; Ft. Robinson numbered print; other items
  • William Clark Birthday Party at West Market Square – Blair Chamber of Commerce - historic food or chuck wagon meal, beer garden, jam session – 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. (historic meal $15. – chuck wagon $9. – chuck wagon under 16 years $4.50)
  • Books Signing -- Washington County Historical Association Tent

  • Vendors on Monroe Street and on 14th Street sidewalks (see list below)
  • Demonstrators on 14th Street sidewalks – lace makers, spinners, wood carvers, China painters

  • Black Powder Shoot – Ft. Atkinson Muzzleloaders at Welchert’s Garden Path
  • Archery Shoot – NebraskaTraditional Archers at Welchert’s Garden Path

  • First Council Quilt Show at high school
  • Celtic entertainment at tent
  • Collector’s postal cancellation (at Signature Event site)

  • John Thein Art Exhibit at museum – “Two Great Nations – The Beginning of the Continental Transformation”
  • L&C diorama at museum – approved by National Park Service as an official site on Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail
