Hours Change for the Season
Because of when Christmas and New Year's fall, we will be open Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday; December 21, 22 & 23 and December 28, 29,& 30. We will be closed December 24, 25, 26, 27, 31, & January 1. We will be back to normal hours after that and look forward to serving you.
Museum Needs
The Museum is in need of the following items:
Large screen for the North Gallery
Volunteers to work at the desk and to help with the scanning project.
Reseable Ziploc bags
Cotton or Polyester Batting
Plastic Storage Containers (all sizes and shapes)
Two bags of clean sand for the Fossil Dig
Natural Brushes for the Fossil Dig
Dirt Devil for the Fossil Dig
Wooden four to six shelf book case
Map/Art professional storage unit
Two or four drawer standard file cabinet
File drawers for 4x6 cards.
Membership
Now would be a great time to renew or get a new membership to the museum. We are planning a number of activities that will be free to members only. With the new year comes enforcement of our fees policy, so get a membership and save money. Check out our store for last minute stocking stuffers. New items are being added shortly. And, members receive a 10% discount!
Christmas Celebrated
Come and see the decorated rooms of the Frahm House an the Santa exhibit at the museum. Activities every weekend will be going on at both sites. Start a tradition today. We wish to thank Kelly Ryan for their generous donation that makes this even possible.
New Items On Sale!
The museum has just added a collection of items from Schleich. They include Dinosaurs, Native Americans and Pioneers and range in price from $5 to $35.
Stop by and start your collection now! Members get the 10% discount on all items.
Washington County History
The Washington County History book of 1980 is now available on CD for $25 plus tax. This was a limited addition when first published. Get your copy of this invaluable addition to your local history collection today.
Washington County Schools
The exhibit at the Frahm House will be on the schools of Washington County. We hope to have reunions of various schools and encourage you to attend on the date listed for your school. Refreshments will be served and we will ask you to fill out memory forms on your school.
